The unpredictability caused by Covid-19 poses a series of challenges and requires flexibility. The international conference organised annually in Portorož, Slovenia, by the Slovenian Energy Association (SZE), had originally been scheduled for 22–24 March 2020. In the hope that the situation would improve, the conference was then delayed until 13–15 September 2020.
Now, given the recent developments and health authority recommendations, and to protect the health of everyone involved and deliver the conference at the highest possible level, the Slovenian Energy Association and TECES have reached the final decision to postpone the International Conference of SZE 2020 until the spring of 2021.
The focus of the upcoming conference edition remains the same: Energy Supply and Use for Smart Buildings and Homes. All the 55 submissions already accepted for presentation will be included in the conference programme next year. We thank all the authors for their participation.
