The Slovenian Energy Association (SZE) is organizing 23rd traditional International Conference, which will be held from 28 to 29 Jun 2021 in Grand Hotel Bernardin, Portorož, Slovenia and on-line. An international conference entitled Energy Supply and Use in Smart Buildings and Homes will deal with energy topics for the future of buildings and homes in urban environment, supported by digitalization and the role of humans in such an environment.
Energy supply and use in daily life have turned into one of the megatrends of development. Integrating the right solutions in smart buildings and homes creates sustainable, user-friendly environments that allow for both connectivity and energy self-sufficiency. When designing a smart building or home, the first key requirement is knowing who they are being designed for. Indeed, meeting the needs of the user while paying special attention to energy efficiency is at the heart of the process.
